Happy Holidays!

Whew! It’s been a long while since I last updated this blog. There were so many things that happened and I cannot even think of where to start.

Anyway, I just got back here in Davao and I am somewhat looking forward to the many things that I want to do here. I have been away from this place for almost two years when I worked for a company in Cagayan de Oro. And I sort of miss the place, and the people whom I have left when I left for CDO. (naks!)

Well, I do not know what will happen next but I think I am gonna enjoy the ride. There’s beauty in uncertainty and this I am determined to enjoy. I have been doing the plan-ahead trick ever since and it is good to be unaware of the future events sometimes.

Well wish me luck with my new adventures! But before I end this post, I need to give justice to the post title and greet you all a Merry Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

One More Chance

One More Chance is a movie directed by Catherine Garcia-Molina starring John Lloyd Cruz and Bea Alonzo. For me, these John Lloyd and Bea is the best loveteam in town. Both of them are great actors and One More Chance won’t be as effective as it is now, without these two.

I saw the movie and I must say this is one of the best pinoy movies I have seen. It has depth and the way the story is driven is just fantastic. The movie made me cry for crying out loud!

Kudos to Cathy and to her cast! The movie is superb. Everybody should watch it.

Profound words

It is without a doubt one of the nicest good luck forwards I have received. Hope it works for you — and me!

ONE. Give people more than they expect and do it cheerfully.

TWO. Marry a man/woman you love to talk to. As you get older, their conversational skills will be as important as any other.

THREE. Don’t believe all you hear, spend all you have or sleep all you want.

FOUR. When you say, “I love you,” mean it.

FIVE. When you say, “I’m sorry,” look the person in the eye.

SIX. Be engaged at least six months before you get married.

SEVEN. Believe in love at first sight.

EIGHT. Never laugh at anyone’s dream. People who don’t have dreams don’t have much.

NINE. Love deeply and passionately. You might get hurt but it’s the only way to live life completely.

TEN. In disagreements, fight fairly. No name calling.

ELEVEN. Don’t judge people by their relatives.

TWELVE. Talk slowly but think quickly.

THIRTEEN. When someone asks you a question you don’t want to answer, smile and ask, “Why do you want to know?”

FOURTEEN. Remember that great love and great achievements involve great risk..

FIFTEEN. Say “bless you” when you hear someone sneeze.

SIXTEEN. When you lose, don’t lose the lesson.

SEVENTEEN. Remember the three R’s: Respect for self; Respect for others; and responsibility for all your actions.

EIGHTEEN. Don’t let a little dispute injure a great friendship.

NINETEEN. When you realize you’ve made a mistake, take immediate steps to correct it.

TWENTY. Smile when picking up the phone. The caller will hear it in your voice.

TWENTY-ONE. Spend some time alone.
