Star nose job

Personal, Sadness, Disappointment, Failure, Scary, Gross, Cosmetic surgery No Comments »

Most of the famous celebrities that we know of actually had done their noses already even before they became famous. There are rumors that Angelina Jolie, Halle Berry and Tyra Banks all got help from either a rhinoplasty in Chicago or a nose job somewhere else – all done by a reputable plastic surgeon. Of course, there is nothing wrong with that as long as you go to a board-certified surgeon and actually get great results. From what we can see, all of them got awesome results and that is all that matters really.

However, there is one nose that hasn’t looked great ever since he had it altered in the 80s. I am talking about Michael Jackson and I hate to say this but I really feel bad when I look at his fake nose. It looks so gross! It’s like a only a piece of metal or string or whatever is holding that thing up. I am even puzzled if this guy can breathe properly with all those weirdness that he has done to his face. I am saying this not because I hate MJ but I am just disappointed by the choices he has made.

As for me, I wouldn’t want to change my nose for anything. I am happy with what I have.

What about yoga?

I have always wanted to do Yoga ever since I heard about the term years ago. I also would want to try that stress-busting activity because many of the people I know who have tried said that it was totally relaxing. I even know of someone who has already tried it. In fact, she will be reading this post very soon. (Ahihihihihi)

I want to try the basics of yoga first before I do yoga for men. I think that it is necessary to know the general form of yoga first before moving on to a higher level. I specifically do not know what difference yoga for men has over the basic yoga but I would sure love to find that out.

It would be better also to invite some of my friends in a yoga class. That way, I would not feel uncomfortable doing the gestures or whatever since I have buddy to talk to and share insights with. I hope I can find a yoga center here nearby. Wish me luck then.

Earning from your blog

Personal, Inspirational, Blogthings No Comments »

It has been really busy these past few days. I have just had an internet connection at home and it seems that I could not figure out what I really want to do first considering that I have so many things to do in order to earn more from blogging.

Yeah, I have not mentioned this before but I have been doing a lot of investigation lately on how to earn from my blogs. I maintain several blogs tackling various niches but I am more inclined on the entertainment side of the spectrum. Not much of a techie and I am not a geek so definitely, I suck at doing gadget and techie blogs.

So far, I have earned a considerable amount from blogging already but I still have tons of things to learn. I may never be as rich as George Lindemann but I am determined to really know the secret to six-figure blogging which was actually already done by one of idol bloggers – Darren Rowse.

Happy Holidays!

Whew! It’s been a long while since I last updated this blog. There were so many things that happened and I cannot even think of where to start.

Anyway, I just got back here in Davao and I am somewhat looking forward to the many things that I want to do here. I have been away from this place for almost two years when I worked for a company in Cagayan de Oro. And I sort of miss the place, and the people whom I have left when I left for CDO. (naks!)

Well, I do not know what will happen next but I think I am gonna enjoy the ride. There’s beauty in uncertainty and this I am determined to enjoy. I have been doing the plan-ahead trick ever since and it is good to be unaware of the future events sometimes.

Well wish me luck with my new adventures! But before I end this post, I need to give justice to the post title and greet you all a Merry Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Kind of busy lately

I am such a failure.

I failed to fulfill my promise that I am going to update this blog more often. I am really so down. Like, the world is against me or something. Why? Why me?

I realized that I have never been to good to this blog. I don’t know. Perhaps I really need to discipline myself. I was quite occupied with watching DVDs than taking care of this blog. I hope this blog won’t get mad at me.

Okay, I really am going to change my habits. I’ll make this promise again and I hope I don’t break it, again. I will update this blog at least once a week. Okay? I think that’s better than once a month. I just realized that I only updated this blog once in September. I’m so bad.

Profound words

It is without a doubt one of the nicest good luck forwards I have received. Hope it works for you — and me!

ONE. Give people more than they expect and do it cheerfully.

TWO. Marry a man/woman you love to talk to. As you get older, their conversational skills will be as important as any other.

THREE. Don’t believe all you hear, spend all you have or sleep all you want.

FOUR. When you say, “I love you,” mean it.

FIVE. When you say, “I’m sorry,” look the person in the eye.

SIX. Be engaged at least six months before you get married.

SEVEN. Believe in love at first sight.

EIGHT. Never laugh at anyone’s dream. People who don’t have dreams don’t have much.

NINE. Love deeply and passionately. You might get hurt but it’s the only way to live life completely.

TEN. In disagreements, fight fairly. No name calling.

ELEVEN. Don’t judge people by their relatives.

TWELVE. Talk slowly but think quickly.

THIRTEEN. When someone asks you a question you don’t want to answer, smile and ask, “Why do you want to know?”

FOURTEEN. Remember that great love and great achievements involve great risk..

FIFTEEN. Say “bless you” when you hear someone sneeze.

SIXTEEN. When you lose, don’t lose the lesson.

SEVENTEEN. Remember the three R’s: Respect for self; Respect for others; and responsibility for all your actions.

EIGHTEEN. Don’t let a little dispute injure a great friendship.

NINETEEN. When you realize you’ve made a mistake, take immediate steps to correct it.

TWENTY. Smile when picking up the phone. The caller will hear it in your voice.

TWENTY-ONE. Spend some time alone.
